SeqTrimMap

Sequential trimming and mapping of short reads
Antonio Marco (c) 2011, 2012

SeqTrimMap is a script for efficient mapping of short reads from high-thoughput sequencing experiments. You can download the current version of the program here.

SeqTrimMap maps reads using the sequential trimming strategy described by Marco and Griffiths-Jones (2011) which allows the efficient mapping of short reads. This strategy is particularly useful to study microRNAs from AB SOLiD datasets. You will find detailed information in the program documentation included in the file provided to download, as well as in the associated paper.
